Pastor Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, a descendant of the 9th Soun of Ogbomoso, Late Oba Laoye Orumogege from the Baiyewuwon ruling house of Aremo House, Ode-Aremo, Ogbomoso, serves as a devoted pastor at The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Washington DC, under the leadership of Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
His remarkable journey in the United States alongside his wife, Pastor Omo, who oversees RCCG Jesus House, one of the largest Redeemed Churches in America, situated in Silver Spring, Maryland, a vibrant and diverse community known for its ethnic and racial diversity.
Pastor Ghandi Olaoye, affectionately known as “Pastor G,” is not only a visionary leader but also a motivational speaker and accomplished entrepreneur.
He hails from Nigeria, where he pursued a degree in English Language and a Masters in Industrial and Labour Relations before embracing his pastoral calling, following a successful entrepreneurial career.
Since 1992, Pastor Ghandi has been deeply involved in pastoral work, serving in multiple RCCG churches in Nigeria and leading an RCCG parish in Bonn, Germany, prior to relocating to the United States.
His extensive international experiences and speaking engagements have equipped him to empower individuals to reach their full potential.
Pastor Ghandi’s ministry is characterized by a commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing worship environment that welcomes people of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Ghandi serves as the coordinator in charge of Convention and Special Projects for RCCG North America, working in partnership with his wife, Pastor Omo, the founder and pastor in charge of the Jesus Women Ministries.
This ministry addresses a wide range of issues affecting women, aligning their teachings with the Word of God. The Jesus Women Ministries is affiliated with RCCG Jesus House, DC.
