Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy drops hints about retiring from the music industry

Date:

Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has dropped hints about potentially retiring from the music scene.

A substantial offer recently presented to the 32-year-old has led him to contemplate a break from music, similar to the sabbatical taken by the wealthy Barbadian-American artist Rihanna.

Burna Boy expressed that the significant contract is making him question his dedication to music.

He shared these thoughts on his Instagram story last Sunday.

“With the numbers I’m seeing on this contract, these next years of my life are about to really show if I really love doing music.

“God must really want to test my love for music. I just might bounce on y’all like Rihanna.”

Burna Boy achieves a groundbreaking African milestone on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
