Lawyer Warns of Potential Irreparable Loss for Artists – Mohbad Discusses

Date:

Human rights attorney Inibehe Effiong emphasized on Thursday that emerging artists may face insurmountable setbacks if they don’t enlist legal representation.

He strongly recommended that artists and entertainers incorporate legal counsel into their careers for robust advancement.

In a recent post on the microblogging platform X, Effiong stressed that anyone involved in the entertainment industry or related fields without legal representation is taking significant risks.

Effiong’s counsel to up-and-coming artists is clear: it’s imperative to have a lawyer as an essential component of your career.

Failing to do so, whether in entertainment or any other business, poses a substantial risk that could result in irrevocable losses.

He asserted, “This advice has saved lives.”

These remarks follow the recent passing of Nigerian singer Mohbad, who was laid to rest in Lagos State’s Ikorodu area last Wednesday.
