Napoli’s forward, Victor Osimhen, has reiterated his allegiance to the club, following a recent controversial TikTok video posted on the club’s official page.
Despite Napoli’s statement claiming the video was unintentional, many of Osimhen’s fans remained unsatisfied.
Nevertheless, the Nigerian striker has now quelled the controversy by reaffirming his dedication to the Serie A champions.
He expressed his excitement about his journey in Naples, Italy, stating, “Choosing to come to the city of Naples in 2020 was a fantastic decision for me.
The people of Napoli have showered me with immense love and kindness, and I won’t allow anything to disrupt our bond,” as he posted on Instagram on Sunday.
Furthermore, Osimhen refuted certain allegations against the club’s supporters, deeming them false, and expressed gratitude for the support he has received, especially from Nigerians, regarding this matter.
The 24-year-old striker marked his fifth Serie A goal during Napoli’s impressive 4-0 victory against Lecce on Saturday.
