Ooni urges Nigerians to exercise patience with Tinubu

Date:

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has called upon Nigerians to exhibit patience in the face of the current economic difficulties under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The Ooni made this heartfelt appeal during his visit to his ancestral home as part of the annual Olojo Festival celebrations in the Oketase region of Ile-Ife on Monday.

Recognizing that Nigeria is currently grappling with a challenging period affecting all aspects of life, the monarch reassured the nation that this trying phase will ultimately pass.

He expressed unwavering confidence that after the festival, normalcy will gradually return to the country, and the prevailing issues will gradually diminish.

The esteemed leader encouraged all citizens to persevere and offer their support to the nation’s leadership, underscoring the necessity of collective effort in achieving significant progress.

He likened this challenging moment to the process of refining gold through fire, emphasizing that the government alone cannot surmount these challenges without the cooperation of the masses.

Oba Ogunwusi emphasized the vital importance of unity and collaboration, stating that it requires the concerted efforts of the entire nation to reach its promised destination.
