Mohbad: Naira Marley, Prime Boy, and other individuals are scheduled to present themselves before the coroner on October 26th

Date:

The coroner’s inquest, which is investigating the cause of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad’s, death, has summoned controversial singer Abdulazeez Fashola, alias Naira Marley, as well as Owodunni Eletu, known as Sam Larry, and Owodunni Ibrahim, known as Primeboy, to appear before it on October 25, 2023.

During the inquest, Magistrate Sotobi Adedayo at the Candide Johnson Courthouse in Ikorodu, Lagos State, on October 13, 2023, directed the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department at Panti to ensure the presence of Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Primeboy on the upcoming adjourned date of October 25, 2023.

Currently, Marley and Larry are being held at Panti.

The magistrate also stressed the importance of cooperation in the investigation to expedite the process of justice in the singer’s death.

He advised all interested parties not to contribute to any delays so that MohBad can finally be laid to rest.

Furthermore, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, Muhammad Yusuf, who serves as the investigating police officer in the homicide section of the SCID, stated that their investigation did not provide conclusive evidence that Naira Marley assaulted Mohbad.

Similarly, there was no evidence linking Sam Larry and Naira Marley to Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the nurse who administered the injection to the deceased.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, and on October 6, after weeks of investigation, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, announced that the prime suspects in the singer’s death were the auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, who administered the injection, as well as his friend and fellow artiste, Ibrahim Owoduni, known as Prime Boy, and another friend, Ayobami Sadiq.

Owohunwa mentioned that 26 people were questioned, and five suspects had been identified, arrested, detained, and interrogated regarding their alleged roles in the sequence of events leading to the singer’s demise.

Ogedengbe administered three different injections, which are believed to have triggered the chain of events resulting in the singer’s death.
