I’m not open to dating men who live in the Lagos Mainland area-Moet Abebe

Date:

Media personality Laura Monyeazo Abebe, who is widely recognized as Moet Abebe, has openly expressed her reluctance to date men residing on the mainland in Lagos.

She articulated her reasons, suggesting that such men might offer excuses when she requires their presence.

During an interview with reality TV star Tolani Baj, the influential media figure conveyed her perspective.

She stressed her hesitation to be romantically involved with someone based on the mainland, mainly due to her concerns about potential late-night interactions.

In her words, “I have always said this thing, I cannot necessarily date someone that lives on the mainland.

I feel like if I call you at 11 pm, you will probably give me some story like it is too late, there are police on the street, I cannot come.”

Moet Abebe’s standpoint on marriage has been previously characterized as a “fraud,” and she shared details about enduring an “abusive” relationship with her ex-fiancé for approximately two and a half years in June.

More recently, she voiced her perspective that societal pressure remains a driving force behind many women’s desire to marry, even when the motivations may not be genuinely aligned with their personal desires.

I have just noticed that a lot of people are getting married for the wrong reasons.

A lot of people are doing it because of pressure,” she remarked.
