I am not responsible for Mohbad’s neck injury,” declares the singer’s cousin, breaking their silence on the matter

Date:

Darosha Losobeh, the cousin and personal assistant to the late artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has broken his silence on the viral video suggesting the singer’s coffin had a broken neck.

Mohbad, a former Marlian record signee, passed away at 27 on September 12, sparking controversy and leading to the arrest of his former boss, Naira Marley, and Sam Larry.

Although the duo, accused of bullying the late singer, has been released, Mohbad’s friend Primeboy and the nurse who allegedly injected him remain in police custody as prime suspects.

Responding to claims of breaking Mohbad’s neck on his Instagram story, Darosha denied the accusation, urging those spreading the information to stop as it affects his mental health.

He explained that the issue arose when they couldn’t find space at the mortuary in Ikorodu, leading to the decision to use an ambulance and a coffin overnight.

Darosha emphasized that he only facilitated the payment for the coffin and ambulance, unaware of its size issue.

He clarified the purpose of the money sent to Mohbad’s father, intended for burial arrangements, and addressed concerns about the burial location’s safety.

Darosha defended himself against online accusations, stating he was the first to provide a statement at Panti and called for questioning.

He explained the use of salt on Mohbad’s chest, drawing parallels with a similar practice during his father’s passing.

Regarding Mohbad’s properties and music catalog, Darosha highlighted the artist’s lawyer and ONErpm’s control, urging patience for autopsy results and government intervention for justice.
