Many feared trapped as school building collapses in Plateau

A two-storey school building has collapsed around Zara road in Plateau state.

 

Eyewitnesses said some students and teachers are still trapped in the building.

 

The school, which is located in the Busa Buji community, in Jos north LGA, collapsed on Friday morning while students and teachers were attending classes.

 

Some parents are on the scene, crying and pleading for the rescue of their wards.

 

First responders and police officers have also reportedly arrived the scene at the time of filing this report.
