OJU MEJI (Two Sides) ARRIVES ON ERIFIK TV: A PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER THAT ASKS HOW WELL WE TRULY KNOW THE PEOPLE WE ADMIRE
A new psychological thriller titled Oju Meji (Two Sides) will premiere on Erifik TV via YouTube on July 30th, 2026. Directed by Tosin Gbeleyi and produced by Elijah Shofuyi, the film follows a husband whose public image as a devoted partner and celebrated humanitarian hides a secret that could destroy everything he has built.
Foluke lives in a house that looks like a sanctuary and functions like a cage. Diagnosed as mentally unstable, she depends on her husband, Adetunji, for every decision that shapes her days. To their community, he is beyond reproach. To Foluke, something about her own life no longer adds up.
The cracks begin to show when Similoluwa, a young woman hired as the family’s nanny, starts paying closer attention than she is meant to. A bottle of medication carries no label. A family photograph is missing a child no one will explain. Foluke has moments where her mind seems to clear, and each one is followed by a relapse that arrives too conveniently, too fast.
As fragments of memory return to her, Foluke begins to piece together a truth that was buried long before Similoluwa ever walked through the door. With the help of a human rights lawyer, she sets out to expose the man everyone else believes they know, before the truth is erased from her mind for good.
Oju Meji (two sides) examines deception, the abuse of power, and the manipulation of memory, and it sits with a question that lingers long after the screen fades to black: how well do we really know the people we admire?
