Tems won her first Grammy and Burna Boy lost.

Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, received her first Grammy Award.

She accepted the award at a ceremony at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday. Her contribution to Future’s hit “Wait For U” with Drake won her the award.

Ranks Africa previously reported that Tems was among the guests invited to Roc Nation’s annual pre-Grammy dinner on Saturday.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Tems can be seen in a white dress chatting with Roc Nation founder Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé.

The pre-Grammy brunch was held at a private home in the Bel Air area, Los Angeles. Meanwhile, award-winning singer Damini Ogbulu, better known as Burna Boy, lost two nominations.
