Performances by Burna Boy, Rema and Tems wowed the crowd at the All-Star NBA event.

Nigerian artists Burna boy, Tems and Rema has done Nigeria proud again by giving an electrifying performance at the NBA All Star event which took place in Utah USA.

Pascal Siakam, a Cameroonian player for the Toronto Raptors, introduced three of Africa’s most prominent and award-winning Afrobeat performers who were featured at the halftime show of the 2023 All-Star Game.

Burna Boy started the show with a lively performance of his popular songs “Anybody” and “It’s Plenty,” which was followed by an exuberant set from Rema. He energized the crowd with his energetic performances of “Calm Down” and “Holiday.”

Tems, who made history as the first Nigerian woman to win a Grammy award, closed out the show with an impressive set featuring her hit songs “Free Mind,” as well as her verses from Wizkid’s “Essence” and Future’s “Wait For U.”

Ladipoe was among the other Nigerian artists present at the show who did not perform but were there in person to enjoy the event.

Artists, influencers, and others have been heaping praise on these artists. Tunde Ednut, among others, has congratulated the artists and even posted their performances on his page.

The Nigerian artists’ performance at the NBA all-star game made history not just for them, but also for the NBA, being the first time African performers took the stage. Rema, Burna, and Tems’ memorable show has solidified their position as some of the most significant African musicians of our era.
