Funke Akindele has now made a public appeal ahead election.

Date:

Shunned and unsupported by his peers in the film industry, actors, directors and politicians, Funke Akindele launched public protests across Nigeria ahead of this weekend’s election.

Ever since she became the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) vice presidential candidate in Lagos, Funke Akindele’s colleagues, including her best friend Eniola Badmus, have been divided on political grounds over supporting their preferred presidential and gubernatorial candidates.

Funke Akindele shared a video on Instagram in which she tells fans how to vote for her party in the upcoming elections.

The box office queen detailed the right way and approach to make a valid vote for her party.

“The general elections are finally here!!

Yes, we’ve all been sensitized on how important it is for us to vote wisely at a time like this, however, it is also imperative that we all are properly educated on how to make our votes count without errors.

Your votes in the coming election will determine the future of our great country, Nigeria. So let’s make it count!

We must choose wisely this time.
We must choose a good leader who is accountable and people-oriented.
The time has finally come!

We pray for a free and fair election from the 25th of February.
Amen!

Be wise!
Be educated!
Vote PDP!
