As the Housemates continue to settle into their respectful Houses, conversations are being had and connections are being sparked. Beauty andΒ Β Groovy in particular seem to be a pair that shares a connection already.
Beauty admitted to liking Groovy, Β but stated she does not want to cause trouble for him, because she realises that other ladies may be interested in pursuing something with him. Groovy is notΒ complaining β and weβve spotted some flirting on his side too, but he seems to be treading lightly.Β Last night at the Kitchen table, he gave Beauty a sip from his cup, then proceeded to rub her back,Β noting: βYou seem to like massagesβ.
Later, this flirtation hit a bumpΒ and turned a bit tense, resulting in hurt feelings and a subsequent apology. Β It all started when the Level 2 HousematesΒ Β decided to play a game ofβTruth or Dareβ.
Everything was going swimmingly until Beauty was dared to kiss Groovy, probably because their fellow Housemates are noticing the connection too? Groovy refused the kiss, leaving Beauty feeling slighted. She complained that Groovy was being uptight and left the game. Groovy then followed her to the bedroom and tried to explain why he had declined.
βI feel like itβs a bit too early for thisβ. He continued to explain his reasoning, but when Beauty didnβt seem to let it go, he told her βIf I am out of the picture, would it not be easier for you to do what youβre here to do?β.
After a back and forth that saw the duo stating their respective positions, Beauty told him everything was confusing at this point. βI can be cranky for other things, but not this. This whole process is a lot for me,β she said.
This morning, when cool heads had prevailed, Beauty found Groovy and asked for a chat, which he obliged to. She then apologised for overreacting. Groovy accepted the apology and the pair decided to restart theirΒ friendship.
Later this morning, Groovy made sure to get Beauty everything she needed when she complained about feeling ill. βMaybe itβs malaria. Did you get a smoothie? Do you want one?,β he said.
