‘The Party’ – star-studded murder mystery and Cinemax’s first production directed by Yemi Morafa.
‘Money in The Game’ – a five-part limited series about football talent management in modern Lagos, directed by Dimbo Atiya. Although this is produced by Atiya-led Innovative Television Kontents (ITK), Atiya announced that ITK reached a distribution deal with Cinemax in July, 2023.
‘Ada Omo Daddy’ – co-directed by Akay Mason and Adebayo Tijani, coming to cinemas in December.
The most exciting thing is that Cinemax is starting co-productions very early and this is a strong indication that Ajayi means business.
Since Ajayi announced the launch of his distribution company in January 2023, Cinemax has distributed a number of titles including Biodun Stephen’s ‘Sista,’ murder mystery ‘Hotel Labamba,’ ‘The Modern Woman,’ and ‘Tiger’s Tail,’ among others.
