Exclusive: Oladips reportedly experienced three days of apparent death before miraculously returning to life, according to a statement from the singer’s aide

Date:

Abdulrasheed Opeyemi, the personal assistant to Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, also known as Oladips, revealed that the rapper, previously reported dead by his management, actually “died for three days before coming back to life.”

On November 14, news circulated about the ‘Chache’ artist’s demise after a two-year battle with an illness.

The management’s statement on November 14 read, “We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, aka Oladips, passed away yesterday, November 14, Tuesday evening, at exactly 10:14 pm. We are still in shock as we speak! …”

However, in an exclusive interview, Abdulrasheed clarified that there was a misinterpretation, attributing it to the manager’s premature announcement. He explained, “We all thought he was dead because he was not breathing until the third day when he was revived. By then, the manager had already shared the story.”

Abdulrasheed, who did not disclose the manager’s identity, mentioned that the manager has been dismissed.

He assured that Oladips would address the situation soon. Oladips established his label, Dipsciples Music, in 2019, following his departure from LRR/Edge Records owned by Nigerian rapper Remilekun Safaru, aka Reminisce.
