Facts to know about 15th Headies Award

Date:

The 15th edition of the Headies award is set to hold on September 4.

The Nation highlights some facts about the forthcoming award show:

1. For the first time, the show will hold outside Nigeria at the Cobb Energy Centre in Atlanta, the United States of America.

2. The organiser’s include three new categories which include: International Artiste Of The Year, Best Inspirational Single and Digital Artiste Of The Year.

3. The organisers of the Headies also revealed that the reason these categories were included was to promote inclusivity.

4. The Headies will also be introducing its talent hunt, called ‘Mic Check’

5. The year’s edition is themed ‘Join the Movement’.

6. The 15th Headies Award will be hosted by the talented actress and TV host Nancy Isime.

7. Winner of the ‘Next Rated’ award category will win a 2022 Bentley.

8. The event’s organizers also announced new changes to the award show, including new categories and live streaming by major tv and streaming platforms, including CNN and BBCI.
