Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Sapaade, Ogun State, has taken the immediate decision to close its doors after a series of relentless robbery attacks on students.
The management, in response, has instructed students to refrain from attending classes for the next two weeks.
Recent incidents involved armed robbers targeting students, resulting in fatalities and injuries.
The heightened frequency of attacks prompted a student protest last week.
Consequently, the management has opted to suspend physical lectures for two weeks, introducing online classes for the ongoing semester. Students are urged to avoid the campus until further notice.
