I discontinued wearing provocative attire after being mistaken for a sex worker, as shared by Ashmusy

Date:

Content creator Amarachi Amusi, also known as Ashmusy, revealed that she abandoned wearing revealing outfits due to being unfairly perceived as a prostitute.

During an interview on the ‘Spill with Phyna’ podcast with BBNaija 2022 winner Phyna, Ashmusy explained her rebranding a few months ago, expressing her initial desire to showcase her body as a young girl.

Unaware of the unintended perception, she shared her frustration at people assuming material possessions were given to her by a man rather than earned through hard work.

Reflecting on her videos, she acknowledged unintentional exposure of sensitive body parts and emphasized the importance of dressing appropriately for societal recognition.

Regarding her active social media presence showcasing a glamorous lifestyle, she explained it as a way for viewers to witness both her hustle and moments of enjoyment, even in mundane activities like sleeping, swimming, and eating.
