MMA2 increases fees for parking and the VIP lounge

Date:

The administrators of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two, Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, have officially declared an increase in the rates for their car park and lounge services at the airport terminal.

BASL justified this adjustment as a response to the evolving economic conditions in the country.

They explained that this decision, although long-delayed out of solidarity with airport users, had become unavoidable to ensure the efficient operation of the terminal.

It’s important to note that these rate modifications will exclusively affect the car park and VIP lounge charges and will come into effect from November 1, 2023.

In a statement released on Tuesday and signed by Mr. Kola Bamigboye, the Head of Spaces and Premises for BASL, the company expressed its commitment to improving the facilities to provide a safe and convenient parking experience for passengers.

The new car park rates will be more accommodating for users who spend less than 30 minutes in the multi-storey car park facility.

Regarding the lounge access fee, Esther Ojeiwa, the Supervisor-In-Charge of Lounge Services at MMA2, emphasized the necessity of increasing the access fee to the VIP walk-in lounge by 33.3 percent to maintain high-quality services and create a peaceful environment for travelers to relax before their flights.
