Mohbad arrived at our facility already deceased; he did not pass away while under the care of Perez Medcare Hospital

Date:

The management of Perez Medcare Hospital wishes to address the misleading and false information circulating on various social media platforms regarding the unfortunate passing of Mr. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

We would like to clarify that Mr. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (Mohbad) was not a patient at Perez Medcare Hospital and was never admitted to our facility at any point in time.

On the 12th of September 2023, at approximately 04:30 pm, Mr. Aloba’s lifeless body was brought to our medical facility.

Our medical team promptly assessed the situation and determined that there were no signs of life, including the absence of a central or peripheral pulse, heartbeat, recordable vital signs, and fixed and dilated pupils.

An attempt was made to perform CPR, but rigor mortis, a sign of body stiffening after death, was already present. We informed the individuals who brought him that it was a case of being brought in dead (BID) and recommended that his body be taken to the nearest Government Hospital for appropriate handling, including depositing it in the morgue.

Furthermore, the nurse who reportedly administered treatment to Mr. Aloba at his home is not affiliated with Perez Medcare Hospital.

Additionally, the video circulating in the media depicting Mr. Aloba receiving treatment while alive is not associated with Perez Medcare Hospital.

We are issuing this statement to set the record straight and correct the false information being spread about Perez Medcare Hospital.

We urge everyone to refrain from disseminating inaccurate information and to be mindful of the sensitivity of this matter.

While we extend our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (Mohbad), we also join the call for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his untimely demise.

Thank you for your understanding.
