Morocco Clinches Spot in WAFCON Final After Dramatic Shootout Triumph

Morocco secured a thrilling 4–2 penalty shootout win over Ghana on July 22, 2025, booking their place in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final. The emotionally charged semi-final in Rabat finished 1–1 after extra time, prompting a tense shootout in front of their home crowd at the Stade Olympique.
