Oyo State Launches Pace Setter Transport System and Affordable Transport Card

Introducing the Omituntun Card! 🚌

As Omituntun buses embark on their journey towards digitalization, in keeping with our promise, we’ve outlined a simple, step-by-step guide to help you obtain, recharge, and use your PACESETTER CARD to ride the Omituntun bus hassle-free:

1. Visit any of our terminals’ ticketing booths.

2. Obtain your PACESETTER card for FREE and complete the registration process.

3. Immediately recharge your PACESETTER card with an amount sufficient for your bus journey (a minimum of #1,000 for intra-city service or #2,000 for inter-city service).

4. Simply tap your card on the ticket validator located in the Omituntun bus you wish to board.

5. Enjoy the comfort and affordability of our transportation services.

6. When it’s time to disembark, tap your card on the ticket validator again.

Please note that, courtesy of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the PACESETTER CARD is currently provided at no cost. This convenient service will be available starting from Monday, the 25th of September, 2023.

    I pay #500 for the card. When they know is not free anymore they supposed to announce back that people are going to pay for the card now
