Sanwo-Olu Designates Agoro as the Head of Service

Date:

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has granted his approval for the appointment of Shuaheeb Olabode Agoro as the 22nd Head of Service, commencing on September 30, 2023.

In an official statement signed by the outgoing Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, it was revealed that Mr. Agoro commenced his service in the Lagos State Public Service on July 1, 2003, and was appointed as a Permanent Secretary on August 3, 2015.

Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Agoro served as the Permanent Secretary of the Lands Bureau.

It is worth noting that Mr. Muri-Okunola, the 21st Head of Service in Lagos State, was recently appointed as the Principal Secretary to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

His voluntary departure from the civil service will become effective on September 29, 2023.

Mr. Muri-Okunola extended his call to all Public Servants, urging them to offer their full support to the newly appointed Head of Service, with the aim of building upon the accomplishments of his predecessors.

He also conveyed his best wishes to his successor, hoping for a productive and successful tenure in office.
