Date:

A Magistrate Court in the Yaba area of Lagos State has ordered the detention of Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, in police custody. This decision was made on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

The Lagos State Police Command had requested a 30-day remand for Fashola and the others while they complete their investigation.

However, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ruled for a shorter period, remanding Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and the others for 21 days.

The investigation is related to the controversy surrounding the death of the late singer Aloba Ilerioluwa, also known as Mohbad.
