TIME Hotels will present their sustainability efforts to attendees at COP28

Date:

TIME Hotels is gearing up to unveil its latest strategic endeavors aimed at driving positive contributions to climate action during the upcoming COP28 UAE event, scheduled between November 30 and December 12.

Currently, over 50 rooms have been reserved to accommodate four distinct groups of delegates hailing from the Pacific & Oceana region, Asia, Italy, and the UK.

These delegates are converging at COP28 with the goal of enhancing their expertise in environmental governance, policy formulation, planning, monitoring, and reporting for sustainable environmental outcomes, all while aligning with the evolving socio-economic landscape.

Furthermore, TIME Hotels’ commitment extends to fostering the amalgamation of climate change adaptation and disaster risk management through capacity building, employing an ecosystem-based approach.

TIME Hotels, renowned for its impressive environmental track record spanning well over a decade, is set to showcase its sustainable operational practices.

This will encompass sustainable room setups, eco-friendly bathroom amenities, and responsible food and beverage options.

Mohamed Awadalla, CEO of TIME Hotels, expressed their intention to conduct interviews with the attending delegates to garner their insights into these initiatives and seek their guidance on what more TIME and other hospitality companies can do to curtail their environmental impact.

Pending approval, these interviews will be shared on TIME Hotels’ social media platforms to educate and inspire both guests and industry peers.

This aims to demonstrate how simple and cost-effective changes can collectively drive substantial progress, especially as the UAE strives towards realizing its goals of net zero emissions.
