Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is set to inaugurate the Yaba Overpass on the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Red Line, a T-shaped bridge that facilitates the smooth flow of traffic between Murtala Muhammed Way and Ojuelegba Road, allowing vehicles to pass over the rail tracks.
This Yaba Overpass Bridge is part of the four new bridges constructed under the Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat administration’s initiative for the Red Line rail alignment, with the primary goal of separating vehicular, pedestrian, and train traffic.
In addition to Yaba, similar overpass bridges have been designed for implementation at Ikeja, Mushin, and Oyingbo, all contributing to the realization of a #AgreaterLagosRising.
