Audiomack Launches Premiere Access Feature to Support the Growth of African Artists

0

In less than a month of launching its Premiere Access feature, Audiomack has recorded a groundbreaking result with Nigerian rapper & songwriter Laycon. During the first week of his Premiere Access release, Laycon’s song “God Body V2” generated 5x revenue vs streaming alone. Premiere Access which was launched recently by Audiomack is a first-of-its-kind feature that allows artists to reward their biggest fans by making a yet-to-be-released song or album available on Audiomack before its wide release.

Premiere Access provides a new way for artists on Audiomack to generate revenue beyond the traditional form of streaming. Now, artists can upload their work to Audiomack, select the Premiere Access feature if they are enrolled in the Audiomack Monetization Program (AMP), and select the period of exclusivity for their release’s supporters. The Premiere Access feature was launched with Laycon and several other top-performing artists such as Nigerian super producer Pheelz, Starboy Producer and DJ Tunez and U.S. singer Almira Zaky.

“As a leading player in the music industry, we recognized the opportunity and obligation to enable creators to explore diverse means of monetization and help realize the financial potential of their work. This feat recorded with Laycon is a testament to more wins we aim to realize with artists that take advantage of the Premium Access feature”, said Jason Johnson, VP of Brand Marketing & Brand Strategy for Audiomack Africa.

Premiere Access builds upon Audiomack Supporters, which the platform launched in December 2021, to allow fans to directly contribute to songs and albums from the artists they love. To be eligible for Supporters, artists must apply for and gain access to the Audiomack Monetization Program (AMP), or distribute their music to Audiomack through one of many participating partners, including but not limited to Warner Music Group, Amuse, AudioSalad Direct, DistroKid, EMPIRE, FUGA, Stem and Vydia.

Audiomack has found that over half of all independent artists using the Supporters feature have increased their earnings by at least 30% via direct fan contributions. Since the feature’s launch eight months ago, over 25,000 artists on the platform have received direct support.

About Audiomack

Audiomack, which launched in 2012, currently reaches more than 20 million monthly users globally. The streaming and discovery service has played an integral role in breaking new acts, such as Roddy

Ricch and Kaash Paige; served as trusted partners to Eminem and Nicki Minaj, among other notable artists, to debut exclusive releases; and helped to rise African stars, such as Omah Lay, reach an international audience. Parents should be observant of their children. 2

Ranks Africa has finally unveiled its #WCW weekly personality Series to honor women with vision and high character standards who are leaders.
Also celebrate fierce, intelligent women who’ve inspired, driven and shaped society. We believe Amazon’s vision, capability, and grit have been the source of so much of our success in recent times.
Our Amazon this week is Doyin David. Doyin was a prolific source of strength, progress, and hope—role models for the next generation through her highlights in BBNAIJA House. Her actions were beyond the reality show; many individuals aspired for such qualities and many life changes by just watching her do her therapist’s things unknowingly.

DOYIN

Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, known to a large extent as a mixture of Michelle Obama and Cardi B. Great personalities yeah ?? Of course!!!
She is a Nigerian Medical Radiographer, Reality TV personality and Brand Influencer. A lady whose honesty and intelligence can be perceived from a distance.

Doyin is that industrious, fun, intelligent and loyal friend everyone needs around to attain positive growth in friendship.

She is also highly adventurous and wishes to try something new other than medicine and ventures into entertainment to unravel the goodies in it.
The evidence that she will do positively well in the entertainment field is shown in her actions and contributions in big brother Naija house.

NB: We are working extensively to feature her in our special edition magazine… watch out

Tems responds to Waje’s request for Collaboration as anticipated

0

Tems, as expected, responds to Waje’s request for collaboration.

Some are in awe of such action from someone as powerful as Waje, while others see it as a demeaning attempt to gain public sympathy. Many believe that if Waje could send direct messages to Tems instead of announcing it online and discussing it with her, it would be more effective.

Long story short,

In a tweet late Monday, the 42-year-old pleaded to her fans to convey her wishes to the ‘Crazy Tings’ star.

“Imagine @temsbaby and I on track. Please, guys, whisper to her,” Waje tweeted.

Responding to the request on Tuesday, Tems tweeted the post, asking the vocalist to check her inbox.

“Check yah dmss Siss,” she replied.

Waje made her debut in the music industry with a feature on P-Square’s’“Do Me’ in 2007, while Tems came to the limelight in 2019 after her single, ‘Try Me’.

The women’s 100-meter hurdles world record achieved by Tobi Amusan at the 2022 World Championships has been recognized by the World Athletics.

A statement by the international athletic governing body on Tuesday further revealed that the record times of two other athletes — Mondo Duplantis and Sydney McLaughlin – have also been ratified.

The athletes had set the records at the World Athletics Championships that took place in Oregon, the United States, in July.

The statement read, “The world records set by Tobi Amusan, Mondo Duplantis, and Sydney McLaughlin at the World Athletics Championships Oregon22 have been ratified.

“Amusan’s 12.12 in the women’s 100m hurdles semi finals, Duplantis’s 6.21m in the men’s pole vault final and McLaughlin’s 50.68 in the women’s 400m hurdles final are all now officially in the record books, as is the world U20 mark of 9.94 set by Letsile Tebogo in the men’s 100m heats.”

The 25-year-old Amusan took the world by storm when she ran a time of 12.12secs – shaving almost a tenth of a second off the previous world record held by American Keni Harrison (12.20secs) – in the semi-finals of the World Championships in Oregon, USA, before going on to win gold in the final at the Hayward Field stadium.
