Dr. Abisoye Fagade is recognized as one of Africa’s 100 Most Impactful People in Tourism & Hospitality 2026 (TOHO100) for his transformative leadership as the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) and his commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality ecosystem.

Since assuming office in February 2025, Dr. Fagade has championed a new vision for NIHOTOUR, focusing on institutional transformation, workforce development, stakeholder collaboration, and raising professional standards across the hospitality and tourism industry. His leadership reflects a broader commitment to positioning tourism and hospitality as key contributors to economic growth, employment, and national development.
