Michael Jackson claims the top spot on Forbes’ ranking of the most financially successful deceased celebrities

In the most recent annual ranking of the highest-earning deceased celebrities, the iconic American singer, songwriter, and dancer, Michael Jackson, claimed the top spot with an estimated income of $115 million, as reported by Forbes on October 31, 2023.

This ranking features 13 late musicians, authors, and other prominent figures, whose collective earnings over the past year amounted to $470 million.

This represents a notable 70% decrease from the previous year’s record-breaking total of $1.6 billion.

For Michael Jackson, this marked his return to the number one position after a four-year hiatus. He was closely followed by his late father-in-law, Elvis Presley, who secured the second spot on the list.

The legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson, tragically passed away on June 25, 2009.
