Mohbad’s demise: Counsel asserts there is no proof of Naira Marley’s participation

Date:

Naira Marley’s Lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, has vehemently denied allegations of his client’s involvement in the tragic passing of his former artist, Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba.

Mohbad’s death on September 12 was shrouded in uncertainty, prompting extensive police investigations and a coroner’s inquest.

In a video conversation with Daddy Freeze, shared by PUNCH Online on Sunday, Ojo clarified that the widely circulated viral video, featuring controversial Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu (Sam Larry) attempting to intimidate Mohbad during a video shoot, had been misconstrued by the public.

Ojo firmly asserted, “I am confident that, no matter how diligently you search, you will not find a single instance where Naira Marley bullied him.”

He further explained that Larry, Mohbad, and Zlatan had resolved their differences and even shared a meal of “Amala” together after the incident.

Furthermore, Ojo noted that there is a more extended version of the video that displays the three individuals together.

Recalling the events, he mentioned that in June 2023, Sam Larry visited Elegushi Beach and became aware that some musicians were shooting a music video.

Larry’s surprise upon realizing who was involved was captured in the nine-second video.

It’s worth noting that there is an extended version of the video showing the trio enjoying a meal of “Amala” together after the incident.
