Seven key insights about the recently nominated ministerial candidate, Abass Balarabe

Date:

President Bola Tinubu made a nomination on Tuesday, selecting Abbas Balarabe as a replacement for the former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, whose name was conspicuously absent from the Senate’s list of confirmed ministerial nominees.

5. Balarabe’s career also includes roles as a Special Assistant to the President in the Federal Capital Territory and as the Chief of Staff to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja, among other positions, from July 2003 to July 2007.
