With a background in acting, movie production, and storytelling, she has captivated audiences with her performances and creative endeavors.

Before delving into the world of acting, she had a successful career as a basketball player for the Dolphins Basketball Club. However, her passion for the arts led her to explore a different path. She attended Holly Child College Obalende and later pursued a degree in Business Administration at the University of Lagos. She furthered her education with a postgraduate degree in Public Administration and obtained various professional certificates.

Her journey into acting began during her secondary school days when she was appointed as the president of the Art and Drama society. This experience exposed her to various school dramas and music competitions, igniting her love for the performing arts. In 2017, she fully embraced acting after meeting her dear friend and sister, Titilope Fatai. It was during one of Fatai’s film shoots in Ilesa that Ms Ojikutu met Afeez Eniola Onilere. They needed someone to portray the role of a matron, and Afeez approached Ms Ojikutu, who gladly accepted the opportunity. From that point on, her acting career took off, and she has never looked back.

Her inspiration to pursue a career in acting stems from her lifelong dream. Acting has always been a passion of hers, and she is grateful for the opportunity to bring characters to life on the screen.

When it comes to the types of roles she is interested in playing, Ms Temitope Ojikutu has a particular fascination with portraying the role of a police officer. However, her dream role is to embody an Orisa, a deity in traditional African religion.

To prepare for auditions and performances, she revealed she diligently reads through the script, seeks to understand the character, and delivers her best performance. Moreso, ,She believes in the power of preparation and immersing herself in the role.

Throughout her acting journey, Ms Ojikutu has had many memorable experiences. One funny moment she recalls is during the filming of the series “My Driver and I,” where she brought them together was a funny experience.

According to her, “My biggest influences or role model is Aunt Joke Silver. Her command of English is truly impressive and has left me in awe.”

She also revealed she loves to work with the veteran actors in the industry. She finds motivation by watching Indian movies a lot and visiting historic places. These experiences inspire me and help me grow as an actor, says Ms Temitope Ojikutu.
