Three best way to detect fake/true love- Actress Aiyeola

0

Actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has highlighted three rules to aid in the detection of true/false love.

According to the film star, she always got disappointed at some point in her life when she looked to others for acceptance and love.

Particularly hammering on first and third rules, Aiyeola explained if all three are adhered to, people are sure of being ahead of any individual who comes along with ‘falsehood’ disguised as love.

She also encouraged people not to never to give up on finding genuine love, arguing though it may seem farfetched but still very much achievable.

The actress’s wrote: “There was a time in my life I was running kitikata searching for acceptance and pure love from people and every time it felt like I found it, BOOMMMMMM.

1st rule: love urself so much that when human proclaim love u can read in btw the lines.

“2nd rule: understand that it’s the end time and love is cold, garnished with lies and evil. Got absolutely nothing to do with age, status, class, profession or religion.

“3rd rule: Ur instinct is there for a reason. Be calm to listen and follow its lead.

“NB Genuine love though scarce is still out dere never give up.”

My chemistry with Ibrahim chatta is rated more than hundred percent-Shola Subair

0

Bubbly Nollywood actress, Shola Subair known as Sholly Cutie, has made a big score with her movie titled ’69’ which was released on YouTube August 4, 2022, through Libra TV. Many have described the film as unusual Yoruba film because of many sexually explicit scenes, mostly involving the actress and another top rate actor, Ibrahim Chatta.

For people who have seen American films like ‘Basic Instinct’ starring Michael Dougla and Sharon Stone or Body of Evidence featuring Madonna and Willem Dafoe, one may begin to have a picture of what Ibrahim Chatta and Shola Subair pulled off.

Of course, Libra TV has certain limitations to air all the sexual scenes and so censored most, while refering more curious viewers to go the actress’ website.

Sholly Cutie and Ibrahim are lovers in the film and just like in the two American films mentioned above, the lovers couldn’t keep their hands and more off each other, even though their illicit romance and sexcapades ended fatally with devastating consequence.

In a chat with Potpourri, the producer, Shola Subair revealed the film was tasking and hugely consuming as they had to shoot some scenes severally while being almost naked on set. She said her chemistry with Ibrahim Chatta was a big help that made the production a success.

“Ibrahim Chatta and I didn’t only have good chemistry, we had good biology too. It was a great help while shooting the movie,” she said.

I don’t consider some certain things mistakes- Toke Makinwa

Media personality, Toke Makinwa, has said she does not consider certain things mistakes. Rather, she sees them as an opportunity to learn.

Makinwa, who returns as the host of the second season of Showmax’s exclusive talk show, ‘The Buzz’, which is dedicated to Big Brother Naija, told Saturday Beats, “For me, it is all about doing what I have to do and in the end, it turns out alright. Even when it doesn’t turn out fine, I learn my lesson and move on, knowing that there are no mistakes in life. I believe that everything basically happens for one’s good, and one takes those experiences with one to the next level.”

Speaking on what will be different in this season of ‘The Buzz’, she said, “I love the fact that this season is very conversational, I can get guests and we can unpack moments that they were not aired, or that some people might have missed. People have to be given their own time to adjust. I am most definitely still interested in hosting a show like that (GUS).”

Colombia swears in first-ever leftist President

0

Ex-guerrilla and former mayor Gustavo Petro will be sworn in Sunday as Colombia’s first-ever leftist president, with plans for profound reforms in a country beset by economic inequality and drug violence.

The former senator, 62, takes over from the deeply unpopular Ivan Duque for a four-year term during which he will enjoy support from a left-leaning majority in Congress.Petro’s hard-fought victory in June elections brought Colombia, long ruled by a conservative elite, into an expanding left-wing fold in Latin America that could be consolidated in October with a likely victory for Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in Brazil.

At a ceremony in Bogota on the eve of his inauguration, Petro said his government would aim to “bring to Colombia what it has not had for centuries, which is tranquility and peace.”

“Here begins a government that will fight for environmental justice,” he added.

On the campaign trail, Petro had promised to raise taxes on the rich, invest in health care and education, and reform the police after a brutal crackdown on anti-inequality protests last year that was internationally condemned.

He has vowed to suspend oil exploration, to promote clean energy and to reactivate diplomatic and commercial relations with the government of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela, suspended since 2019.

Petro starts from an “enviable position, with a large majority in Congress and, in terms of the street, with support that no government had in recent years,” analyst Jorge Restrepo of the Resource Center for Conflict Analysis told newsmen.

Critical’ debt burden –

Petro’s presidency is historic in another sense, too: by his side will be the country’s first-ever Afro-Colombian woman vice-president, environmental and women’s rights activist Francia Marquez, 40.

The pair will grapple with an economy reeling from the coronavirus pandemic, a spike in violence and deep-rooted anger at the political establishment that culminated in last year’s protests.

Almost 40 percent of Colombia’s 50 million people live in poverty, while 11.7 per cent are unemployed.

Inflation reached 10.2 per cent year-on-year in July.

On Monday, a preparatory commission set up by Petro said he was inheriting “a level of indebtedness and fiscal deficit that is critical.”

– Peace talks –

Petro, who in his youth was a member of the M-19 urban guerrilla group, has promised to implement outstanding provisions of the 2016 peace agreement that saw the rebel FARC movement lay down arms after nearly six decades of civil conflict.

The former mayor of Bogota has also vowed to pursue negotiations with the National Liberation Army armed group.

Despite the FARC disbanding to become a political party, Colombia has seen a surge in violence as thousands of dissidents battle the liberation army and powerful cartels for control of drug fields, illegal gold mines and lucrative smuggling routes.

According to the Indepaz peace research institute, there are 90 armed groups with some 10,000 members active in Colombia, the world’s largest cocaine producer.

Petro has proposed allowing armed groups to hand themselves over in exchange for some form of amnesty.

He will be inaugurated at 3:00 pm local time (20:00 GMT) in front of a host of international guests.

Colombian presidents serve only one term.

#Bbnaija S7: applicants sent me nudes, N100m, N50m- denrele Edun

0

Popular Nigerian entertainer and crossdresser, Denrele Edun, has recounted his experience with applicants of Big Brother Naija reality TV show.

Appearing in an interview on Lunch Time with Vanguard, published on Saturday, the media personality admitted to being “instrumental” in the show’s proceedings.

According to him, people who want to be on the show reach out to him to help them get selected and become contestants.

He said, “I get a lot of nudes from people who want to go for BBNaija. I get all kinds of monetary offers.

“I have gotten N100m, N50m, N30m and I tell people go and do something reasonable with your money.

“So, let’s just say if you don’t have a Denrele in your life that can help you rediscover yourself or help you get to the next level and give you direction to help you navigate your way through life, then what are you looking for? Go and find a Denrele.

Away from that, yes! I have been instrumental to a lot of these things. It is what it is.

I’m at the industry’s center of gravity. Let’s just say I know people in the right places, when they ask you, tell them to come and meet me.”

He noted it all started when winner of 2011 Big Brother Africa, Karen Igho, spoke about how he helped her to fill her application form.

“It all started when my good friend, Karen Igho got into the house and was always saying ‘na Denrele help me fill my form’.”

When he was asked if his influence got anyone into the ongoing BBNaija season 7, Denrele said he has lot of amazing people in the house and confirmed that more housemates will be joining the show

Denrele said, “Well! I have a lot of amazing people in the house and some that are still coming in.”

I’m not ashamed getting big butt — Zainab Bakare

0

Actress, Zainab Bakare, says she sees no reason to be discreet about getting a butt lift, which is a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the buttocks.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “I feel nobody will beat me for saying the truth. Why should I hide? I don’t have to hide because I am not living my life for people.”

On why she got the butt lift, Bakare said, “It is not that I was not comfortable with my body. I just got tired of waist training. I am a perfectionist when it comes to dressing up and I got tired. When people hug me, there is always that hardness there for me (caused by feeling the waist trainer). I got irritated at some point, so I felt if I could get the procedure with my money.”

On how she feels after undergoing the procedure, she said, “When there is something disturbing one, and that thing goes away, one feels relieved. That is exactly how I feel.”

The actress also maintained that she has no words for people who condemn butt implants. She said, “I don’t have anything to say to them. For those who want to do it, I will just advise them to go to the right hospital where it will be done well without complications. If one has the money and one feels one’s stomach is too big, or one is not comfortable with one’s body, one can go for it. It is not a big deal. Like doctors often say, every surgery has a 50/50 chance, no matter how small it is. I don’t know why people condemn it so much to the point of making those who do it feel like they are committing a sin.”

Speaking on how she feels at this point in her career, Bakare said, “I am not there yet but I am thankful to God for how far He has brought me. I pray for more strength, grace, and all the good things of life.”

Some fans want sex from me- skit maker

0

A skit maker and actress, Omozele Gabriel, aka Miz Gabbie, has stated that some of her fans demand to have sex with her.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “Yes, I get weird requests and comments from fans. Even when I am serious, they still want me to show the mannerisms I exhibit in skits. Sometimes, when I go to make my nails and the nail technician realise that I am Flora (another one of her characters), they want me to display some of the mannerisms I do in my skits. Sometimes, some fans even say they would like to have sex with me. However, I don’t respond to such messages.”

Recalling how she ventured into skit making, Gabbie said, “I started in August 2020. It was borne out of my desire to do something because I had ‘wasted’ the whole of the COVID-19 lockdown period. I recalled I had played a character called Flora the previous year, and people liked it. I then decided to bring it back and see people’s reactions. I did not plan to do it for long because I was more interested in acting in Nollywood then. However, I was not getting acting gigs, and it was really frustrating. I just decided to give it a try.”

Asked if she exhibits some of the mannerisms in her skits in real life, she said, “When the atmosphere is cool, I infuse some of the slangs of Flora. Generally, I only display those mannerisms to people I am close to.”
