BBNaija Season 7: Groovy, Beauty enter house
Groovy and Beauty have made their way into the BBNaija Level Up House.
The 72-day journey of Big Brother Naija Season seven with the theme ‘Level Up’ has begun with the first leg of the double launch/opening show on Saturday.
Henry Olisaemeka aka Groovy was the first to be ushered into the house before 21-year-old beauty queen, Etstanyi Tukura aka Beauty joined him.
The show began with the host, Ebuka Obi Uchedu welcoming live studio audience back and viewers across Nigeria and outside the shores to another season.
He also introduced co-host of the opening show, Ms. Vicky.

Toyin Abraham, Okanlawon feature in The Stranger I Know
The duo of Toyin Abraham and Deyemi Okanlawon have featured in Starling Pictures’ new film, The Stranger I Know.
The film stars were revealed as the leading cast of the film after the reveal of the film’s trailer on Friday, July 22.
The film also features Aderonke Moyinlorun, Akin Lewis, Bimbo Akintola, and Dayo Amusa. It was produced by Aderonke Moyinlorun and directed by Akin Tijani Balogun.
The Stranger I Know movie is scheduled to be in cinemas on August 19, 2022.
According to Moyinlorun, “The Stranger I Know is an original take that blends ancient tradition with a modern way of life and love. I believe people would love it because it’s not only entertaining, but also intriguing, and will give the viewer a good cinematic experience.”
You are such a liar, Tinubu lambast Atiku
All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said Nigerians should feel great pity and sadness for the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar.
In his desperate attempt to win the election by stoking religious bias, Atiku has reduced himself to uttering baseless lies on national television, he said.
“We are saddened to see such a man become unhinged from the truth. So obsessed is he with his quest for office, Atiku is willing to render any form of untruth if he thinks it might gain him a single vote. Atiku may want to be president. However, all he has shown is that he is pathological,” Tinubu said in a statement by his aide, Tunde Rahman.
He added: “Whatever moral compass he had has been lost. During a 22 July television interview, Atiku assaulted historic truth by lying that he did not name Tinubu as his running mate in 2007 on the Action Congress ticket because Atiku did not want a Muslim as his running mate.”
Responding to Atiku’s false account, Tinubu set the record straight. He recalled that Atiku was not among those who founded the Action Congress (AC).
Gunmen murder Song Deputy Legislative leader
The Deputy leader of Song Local Government Legislative Council of Adamawa State, Hon Ishaya Bakano, has been killed.
A gang of men of the underworld got at the local council lawmaker in the early hours of Saturday and gunned him down, The Nation learnt.
Ishaya, who was representing Gudu Mboi Ward, was whisked from his residence at Bannga, in Song LGA and shot dead by the suspected gunmen, sources said.
