Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, who founded the African Movie Academy Awards, has passed away.

Anyiam-Osigwe, who was regarded as one of the country’s promoters of the entertainment industry, is said to have passed away at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos on Monday after entering a coma on Saturday.

One of her colleagues, Zik Zulu, broke the news by declaring, “Our President, Peace, has passed.” She was said to be in a coma at Saint Nicholas as of Saturday. Her family has now acknowledged her change, nevertheless.

May her life’s memories bring her blessings.
